Restorative Yoga is a gentle practice that can have profoundly beneficial effects which include:
- A dismantling of chronic tension patterns
- Enhanced immune function
- Effective cellular respiration
- Reduced hyper-tension in the cardiovascular system
- Reduced mental and emotional tension
- The body-mind can return to a natural state of ease and equilibrium
For this Be At Home Restorative Yoga Retreat, all that is required is:
- To create an intention, space and time for yourself at home for your retreat and practice. Let this be a warm, clear, nurturing space.
- Some tools for your practice:
- A Yoga mat if you have one – this is optional, however – both Neal and Karla have spent years practicing without mats.
- Some blankets, pillows, Yoga bolsters, a small towel… Please know though that it is not necessary to have all of these items – a few blankets, pillows and towels will be more than enough to participate and to rest well.
